Kirklees KIAS
Kias, Kirklees Information Advice and Support Service, is for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and / or Disabilities and their parents or carers.
KIAS is a statutory, free, impartial and confidential service, working with Parents / Carers, Children and Young People. The service offers information, advice and support relating to a child or young person’s Special Educational Needs and/or disability and is available to anybody living within the Kirklees area.
KIAS and Calderdale SENDIAS services have now integrated. KIAS still covers Kirklees and there are no changes to the service we provide.
The service is committed in providing you with high quality information, advice and support with special educational needs or disability enquiries on 07771 977384. You can also use this number for sending any texts and to leave a message.

The umbrella body for the disabled children’s sector bringing together professionals, practitioners and policy-makers.
Parents of Children with Additional Needs are the independent, parent-led forum in Kirklees for all parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs aged from birth to 25 years.
Kirklees Local Offer is aimed at providing information about the support and services that children and young people aged 0-25, who have special educational needs and disabilities, and their families can get in one place.
